The “Birth 2 Be Community” event is an educational gathering for expectant parents and their support partners to prepare for childbirth. It covers topics such as hospital procedures, pain management options, and fetal monitoring in an interactive, evidence-based format. Participants leave feeling more confident and informed about their birth experience.

I`m pretty lucky to have this guy as a brother. I`m even luckier that he has some pretty great kids that call me Aunt Katie! I was pregnant with my second son in this photo and I just loved holding my newest niece on top of my belly. And yes, those are tears in my eyes!

April is Cesarean Awareness Month. Our team put together some myths and facts about this type of birth because there are so many misconceptions about Cesarean Births.
Here`s one quick tip for any professional reading these: Instead of calling them "C Sections", try saying "Cesarean Birth" instead. Adding the word birth reminds us that this is the baby`s birth into the world, and more than just a medical procedure.
