Are you looking forward to having a baby, but worried about what it’s like to be a “patient” in the hospital system? Never fear, Savvy Birth 101 is here! The 1-hour Savvy Birth 101 class was developed by Evidence Based Birth® to give you the inside scoop on how to form the ultimate birth team, so when the time comes to bring your baby into the world you can find yourself at the center of respectful, evidence-based care.

I was talking with an expecting mom this week about her concerns regarding her upcoming birth. She had a list going of "things that were keeping her awake at night".

I asked if she was getting any of her questions answered, and how she was finding her answers.

Not surprisingly, she had turned to Google, friends, and colleagues. All had different opinions and answers for her.

One of the benefits of having labor doula support is knowing someone is there to offer evidence-based support in a loving, judgment-free space. We can help you sort through information, create lists of questions to ask your provider if necessary, and support your decisions. (We also know some really great mental health therapists if you`re facing some anxiety or excess worry.)

We would love to be a source of support for you through birth and postpartum!
