Please help us welcome our Summer Intern, Graci!
Graci is a recent ISU graduate and will be starting her Master`s program in the fall as a dietetics student. She is planning to pursue a career in maternal and child health. She has a huge heart for prenatal nutrition and we already have a fantastic project in the works for our Iowa Baby Ladies families!
If you see her around, ask her about her favorite EASY healthy meal prep ideas. She`s an incredible resource for expecting parents! She`s also getting her Instagram account going, so be sure to follow her at @goodeatsbygraci.

Happy Birthday Erika!

Congratulations to the newest Iowa/MN/IL doulas from the spring trainings! Your communities are so lucky to have you all!
If you or someone you know would be a great doula, check out the details, dates, and upcoming trainings at www.theiowababylady.com. I`d love to connect and share more about the training process, working as a doula, and certification options.

The spring 2026 conference season is over! I had such a great time reconnecting with perinatal professional friends from all over the US and making so many new friends as well. Thank you to these event coordinators for allowing me to be a speaker, vendor, panelist, or attendee. I appreciate you all!
Small business owners in this field are incredible people. Each person has a huge heart for making pregnancy, birth, postpartum, breastfeeding, etc. better for families in their communities. They are supporting families every week while also trying to run their business. This means they are doing their own IT, HR, Marketing, accounting, social media, support services, etc. (Often learning these skills as they go!)
Please remember to support your local businesses as you`re planning for your baby and growing family.
