I am so fortunate to have a wonderful mother. She`s kind, creative, and cares deeply for people in our family and beyond. She was my unofficial postpartum doula and took care of me in ways I didn`t know how to ask for. When I care for new moms, it`s often based on how she cared for me in my first weeks with my new babies.
I am also so thankful to have many other women in my life who have helped me and cared for me and my kids. Some of those women, like my aunts, have never given birth, but they have expertly mothered me and my children. We even have a few doulas on our team who are amazing support for new moms, but they aren`t "official" birth moms themselves.
As our graphic shows, we want to wish all women who are loving and caring for new moms, new babies, and new families a very special Mother`s Day.

This week, we asked our Labor Doulas what they recommend moms listen to while in labor. Here`s what they said!
More thoughts from me (Katie)...I`ve supported moms who listened to their Hypnobabies tracks from start to finish, moms who danced their hearts out in early labor trying to get baby to move lower into the pelvis, & moms who quietly relaxed in the tub while listening to incredibly peaceful music. Whatever you decide to listen to, PRACTICE relaxing or grooving to your music while you`re still pregnant. It will help your brain remember what to do when you`re actually in labor!
